Adolescents are in a searching phase of their life--not only in their personal identity, but of what it means to be a Christian in today's world.  It is a time of questioning to connect their experiences of life to their understanding of the God who loves them. Part of that journey is discovering their identity as young disciples within the context of the community of faith.

Discovering Your Gifts for Youth is a great way to help them discover a deeper reality of themselves. It affirms the gift they are to the community and how much God loves them as His children.

It also gives ministers a lens through which to help adolescents realize the gift they are to their family, community of faith and world in which they live.

Adolescence is a time of great discovery about the self and a teen's place in the world. Discovering Your Gifts for Youth is designed for use in Cofirmation preparation or youth ministry programs. Using a specially designed spiritual gifts inventory, youth will discover how the Holy Spirit has empowered them to take part in the mission of evangelization.

A mentor packet, including companion guide and powerpoint has been designed for youth ministers and catechists.
